Venue and Lodging
The conference host hotel and venue is the Hilton Pittsburgh and Towers, a first class hotel located 16 miles from Pittsburgh International Airport. The Hilton Pittsburgh and Towers has been the city's largest and most elegant hotel since it opened in 1959. The Hilton Pittsburgh is a beautiful 20-story hotel with 713 rooms. All of the rooms are beautifully renovated and provide breathtaking views of the Three Rivers, Point State Park, and the theater district. Hotel reservations are to be made by contacting the hotel directly. The conference has negotiated a reduced room rate ($146 for a single, plus tax; $166 for a double, plus tax) for attendees. Please ask for the special “AAPG-SPE” meeting rate when making your reservations.

From Pittsburgh International Airport - PA-60 South to US 22-30 toward Pittsburgh center city; US 22-30 to I-279 North through the Fort Pitt tunnel; exit at #6B, Liberty Ave.; left onto Commonwealth Place to Hilton Pittsburgh.

From the east: Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76 west) to exit 6 (Monroeville); I-376 west toward Pittsburgh center city; exit Wood Street, left on Blvd. of the Allies, right on Commonwealth Place to Hilton Pittsburgh.

From the northwest: Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76 east) to exit 3 (Cranberry); I-79 south to I-279; I-279 south toward Pittsburgh center city; exit Ft. Duquesne Blvd., right on Stanwix St., right on Liberty Ave., right on Commonwealth Place to Hilton Pittsburgh.
